Elevator Artist Resource is leading the new Artist Relief Trust, a coalition-led initiative working to provide emergency assistance to artists in need who have lost work due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 related closures & cancellations.

Presented by Louisville Visual Art & The University of Louisville's Hite Art Institute, Open Studio Weekend was an exhibition and event that allowed local artists the opportunity to showcase their artwork at the Cressman Center gallery. Additionally, artists opened up their studios for a weekend, providing the public with the chance to take a closer look as to how they create their artwork from concept to completion.

I created the design materials for the event and exhibition, including the event logo, map, mobile app, event way finding signage, postcards, posters, and various other collateral materials.

I was a part of the creative team at SouthComm Publishing/Target Marketing responsible for designing advertisements and magazine layouts for nationwide City & Chamber publications. Our team worked with hundreds of advertisers ensuring that their purchased advertisements were proofed, print ready and aligned with their company's vision.

Louisville Visual Art partnered with the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University to create the three-part exhibition The Untold Tale of Bob Lockhart: A Retrospective. The exhibition focused on the legacy of local and world renowned artist, Bob Lockhart, and his years of work.

I was in charge of designing all promotional and gallery materials, including the exhibition catalog, exhibition signage, sandwich boards, postcards, e-blasts and more.

Hosted by Junior Bridgeman and family, I utilized the Trifecta Gala’s brand to create various social media posts and digital designs for the annual Kentucky Derby Eve Celebrity Charity event.

The Louisville Visual Art's Troublesome Houses exhibition was inspired by the musical lyrics of Bonnie Prince Billy (aka Will Oldham) . Curator Kevin Titzer commissioned each of the 14 artists to select a Bonnie Prince Billy song and visually convey what they perceived the lyrics to symbolize.

I was responsible for creating the collateral and promotional materials for the exhibition, such as the exhibition catalog, vinyl, gallery signage, flyers and various other items.

Presented by Churchill Downs in partnership Louisville Free Public Libraries, Fund for the Arts, and the Arts and Culture Alliance, Cultural Pass offered families in Greater Louisville with children ages 0-21 access to participate in arts and cultural activities provided by nearly 50 venues, free of charge all summer long.

I had the opportunity to work alongside the Cultural Pass executive team to produce a wide range of collateral materials. Materials included the pass itself, advertisements, billboards, posters, and more.

Aligning with Imagine Greater Louisville’s mission to provide more art, for more people, in more places, I designed the Arts in Lou website. In partnership with Fund for the Arts and Louisville Metro Government, the website was developed to promote Greater Louisville's world-class arts and cultural assets.

The Louisville Visual Art's exhibition Art[squared] promoted art for art's sake. Nearly 200 anonymous 8" x 8" canvases were submitted for the exhibition. Each canvas was sold for $100 to support the LVA's Children's Fine Art Classes. The premise of the exhibit was so that the viewer would solely by the piece of artwork based on their own personal taste and connection, as opposed to price and/or artist.

I designed the gallery and promotional materials such as the vinyl window signs, flyers, posters, vinyl signage, sandwich boards, promotional video and various other materials.

The firm LaVERDAD Marketing & Media strived to target the needs of Hispanic and Asian demographics. I worked within a creative team to rebrand the company's logo, website, business cards and other various collateral materials, all the while implementing and developing consistent brand standards.

LaVERDAD is Spanish for "the truth". My mission was to develop a brand that emphasized the company's straight forward, clean cut and personable way of doing business.

I worked alongside the Paw-Paws Nutrition owner to design the logo for their pet CBD oil label. There are three variations of the label to signify the proper dosage for small, medium, and large animals.

The client was a new hospitality and technology company. They wanted to focus on developing a logo that portrayed a welcoming and inviting presence, all the while using a minimalistic approach. 

Sustainability Group

In designing the logo, my process centered around the idea of “buying green.” I created the logo to work as both a green barcode and an inference to nature’s grass.

Sorah Chocolates

A study with the criteria to create a logo for a fictitious chocolatier company wanting a modern feel that additionally emphasized the decadency of its product.

Firehouse Bar

The logo was created for the Firehouse Bar located in Norwood, OH. The client wanted a logo that made a bold statement geared towards a younger crowd.

Keystone Learning Academy

Working with the group Ignite Louisville, I rebranded an after school daycare's logo to create a more inviting and personable logo.

Lawrence Family Foundation

The logo was designed for the Lawrence Family Foundation located in Louisville, KY. The client wanted a logo that was modern, clean, and stylistically versatile.

Senior Thesis Project

My thesis project was based around the fictitious character Sammy the Weasel. Sammy is notorious for his random acts of mischief and deceivery.

I brought Sammy to life through the use of shirt design, stop animation, greeting cards, poster design, and various other materials. I curated my space to act as an interactive gift shop filled with "weaselings" that tied into his story and allowed the viewer to enter into the world of a weasel.
